The Foundation of the Peaceful Revolution and its partners invite human rights defenders, NGO representatives and academics to Leipzig for the biennial Revolutionale – International Round Table Conference 2026 (IRT26). Under the theme “Democratic Memories. Democratic Futures,” the conference explores democracy, civil resistance, and the links between environmental, political, and social transformation, marking 40 years since the Chernobyl disaster.
