MOVING BORDERS - to connect people beyond borders, overcome stereotypes and change perspectives

30 Oktober 2015 - 8 November 2015 Berlin-Warsaw-Lviv

Borders in our lives are not only limited to their political and administrative functions. Ideological, cultural, religious, social or language differences can create boundaries which emphasise existing divisions and often spoil any form of dialogue "beyond the borders".

Borders are created by humans, but can also be overcome by them. Social exclusion through stereotypes, intellectual and physical disabilities, discrimination against migrants, refugees, ethnic or sexual minorities as well as extreme nationalism can create invisible borders that separate people. The Moving Borders Train rolls again! For the second time we organise a seminar with and for young people from Germany, Poland and Ukraine to reflect on the meaning of boundaries in their societies during a train journey between these three countries. Would you like to question the borders that affect you? Are you interested in transdisciplinary and intercultural issues important to you and your European friends?

TRAIN RIDE FROM BERLIN VIA WARSAW TO LVIV, 30TH OCTOBER – 8TH NOVEMBER 2015, TO CONNECT PEOPLE BYOND BORDERS, OVERCOME STEREOTYPES AND CHANGE PERSPECTIVES.
