The panel discussions will be translated simultaniously.* kultur | standort.bestimmung ist ein Projekt der Initiative Leipzig + Kultur, das sich mit aktuellen und zukünftigen Herausforderungen sowie möglichen Lösungen innerhalb von Kulturarbeit auseinandersetzt. Im Zentrum steht ein kulturpolitischer Kongress, welcher von einem umfangreichen Festivalprogramm begleitet wird. In der Zeit vom 21. bis 27. September haben die lokale Bevölkerung und die Akteur_innen aus Kunst und Kultur die Gelegenheit, sich gemeinsam mit Politiker_innen und Wissenschaftler_innen aus dem In- und Ausland über zukünftige Entwicklungen, Aufgabenstellungen und Handlungsspielräume von Kulturpolitik sowie über demokratische Verfahrensweisen zu verständigen. Mit der Zielsetzung, die Wechselwirkungen von Kultur und Gesellschaft aktiv zu steuern, werden im Rahmen von Diskussionen und Workshops zukünftige Handlungsmuster und Instrumente erarbeitet. kultur | standort.bestimmung gibt damit wesentliche Impulse für die Kulturarbeit der nächsten Jahre und präsentiert zugleich die Vielfalt und Qualität der Freien Szene Leipzigs.
